Family mourns Natick DPW worker killed Tuesday night

NATICK, Mass. (WHDH) - Family and friends are mourning the death of 48-year-old Michael McDaniel who was killed while working Tuesday night.

McDaniel and other workers from the Natick DPW were repairing a waiter main break when a backhoe they were using tipped over, pinning two men.

The other man was rushed to the hospital where he was in very critical condition Wednesday/

McDaniel was born and raised in Natick.

His father, also a DPW worker in Natick, died of cancer just four months ago.
