Wet snow causes bad driving conditions in Worcester

Posted: Updated:

A regional charter school class of kindergarten students learning about the weather and the arctic cold gave 7’s Nicole Oliverio a new winter hat.

“They saw me on TV and thought I looked cold,” said 7’s Nicole Oliverio. They also sent her a scarf.

Worcester was one of the first towns to receive the snow fall Wednesday morning, but it doesn't seem like it's coming down as hard as it was when it first started.

However, the sticky, wet snow is still causing terrible driving conditions. On Rt. 9 the lines on the road can't be seen.

Worcester has seen about six inches of snow fall.
