Big money was spent Sunday night as this year's advertisers shelled out $4 million for a 30-second spot during the game.
Budweiser's ad featured an adorable yellow lab puppy who forms a friendship with a Clydesdale. The puppy gets adopted but can't resist coming home with the help of the horses. It topped the ad meter. This is the second year in a row Budweiser has won the advertising battle. They released the spot a week ago creating plenty of buzz ahead of the big game.
Viewers got a kick out of one of two Doritos ads. One featured two brothers fighting over Doritos. The winner, the little boy using a lasso and his great dane. This spot landed second on the ad meter.
Another Budweiser ad warmed America's hearts. The heroes’ welcome commercial placed third on the ad meter. It featured a soldier's real welcome home parade when he returned from Afghanistan.
Also among the most talked about, the much anticipated Seinfeld reunion. Jerry and George got together for a snippet of comedians and cars getting coffee.
Most ads ran between 30 or 60 seconds. The longest, a two minute ad for the Chrysler 200.
