Police arrest the man they think stole the batteries out of eight Middleboro school buses on Wednesday.
Police believe Jonathan Thomas took the batteries from the buses and from construction equipment at a nearby business.
Police got a tip about the car used in the crime and tracked Thomas down to arrest him.
Fourteen stolen batteries were recovered at a salvage yard in Hanson and another 15 at a yard in Whitman.
Police say charges are coming.
