Man killed in hit and run in Uxbridge

UXBRIDGE, Mass. (WHDH) -

A male was killed in a hit and run in Uxbridge Sunday night, according to police.

Uxbridge and state police are investigating the hit and run that occurred just before 8 p.m. at 35 Balm of Life Spring Rd.

7News’ Adam Harding reports that the man, who was in his 50s, was walking on the side of the road when he was hit from behind. He was killed instantly.

Police don’t have a make and model of the car suspected in the hit and run. Investigators are checking local businesses for surveillance videos.

Several roads are closed during the investigation.
