Suspects in Arlington bank robbery arraigned

Two men were arraigned on Tuesday after a Friday bank robbery in Arlington left one of them with bullet wounds.

Sean Bambushew appeared in Cambridge District Court. His bail was set at $250,000.

If Bambushew posts bail, he will have to be tracked using GPS.

The other man, who had been shot during a standoff with police, was arraigned at the hospital, where he is under guard by the Arlington Police Department. His bail is also set at $250,000.

Witnesses of the robbery at the Leader Bank in East Arlington helped to identify the getaway vehicle. When police confronted the two suspects, one brandished a handgun, causing the officer to fire.

That officer has been put on administrative leave in accordance with the protocol of the police department.
