Five-year-old Mumbles landed at the MSPCA-Centerville adoption center on Cape Cod after her owners could no longer care for her.

This shy kitty takes her time warming up to new people, and staffers report that that tendency has only deepened as life in the shelter is scary for her. Mumbles much prefers to be in a quiet home with abundant toys with which to play, and a soft chair in the sun on which to nap. She would make an excellent pet for a quiet family with older kids—or a single person who wants to develop a special bond with a wonderful and loving feline.

Mumbles is spayed, up to date on all of her shots and she’ll be microchipped before going to her forever home.
