Study says marijuana increases testicular cancer risk

BOSTON (WHDH) -- Occasionally smoking marijuana may increase the risk for testicular cancer.

A new study compared marijuana use between testicular cancer patients and a separate group of healthy men.

Researchers found men who had a history of smoking marijuana were two times more likely to have fatal types of testicular cancer.

Testicular cancer is the most common form of the disease diagnosed in young men.
