RUTLAND, Mass. (AP) — The Worcester County District Attorney's Office has identified a woman who died in a suspicious house fire in Rutland and says a homeless man has been charged with stealing the victim's SUV.

Officials say 53-year-old Diane Lamarche-Leader was the person found dead inside the burning home Friday morning. The medical examiner's office has ruled her death a homicide, although the cause of death is still under investigation.

Police say someone stole Lamarche-Leader's SUV, which was later recovered.

Authorities charged a homeless man, 35-year-old Amador Roman, with larceny and receiving stolen property in connection with the theft of the SUV.

Roman is scheduled to be arraigned Monday in District Court in East Brookfield. It's not clear if he has an attorney.

The district attorney's office didn't release any other information.
