FITCHBURG, Mass. (AP) — Family and friends of a missing 5-year-old Massachusetts boy searched his neighborhood for a second straight weekend but found no clues.

About 30 people returned to Fitchburg, about 45 miles west of Boston, on Saturday to look for Jeremiah Oliver. He disappeared Sept. 14 and is feared dead.

Relatives and friends gathered Saturday night for a prayer vigil in New Britain, Conn., where Jeremiah's father, Jose Oliver, lives. He says he's not giving up hope that his son is OK.

The boy disappeared in September, but police didn't learn that until earlier this month. They are treating the case as a possible homicide.

The boy's mother, Elsa Oliver, and her boyfriend, Alberto Sierra Jr., have been arrested. They have pleaded not guilty to child endangerment, abuse and other charges.
