PROVIDENCE, R.I. (AP) — The fifth man charged in the killing of a 12-year-old girl outside a Providence graduation party last summer has been arraigned and ordered held without bail.

The Rhode Island attorney general said 18-year-old Luis "Didi" Gonzalez was arraigned Wednesday in district court for his alleged role in the June shooting that killed Aynis Vargas and injured three women.

Gonzalez was a juvenile when the shooting took place and has been waived out of family court to be tried as an adult. Authorities say he faces charges of murder, conspiracy, assault with a dangerous weapon and discharging a firearm while committing a crime of violence.

Four others have been charged in the case. Twenty-one-year-old Ricardo Vasquez pleaded guilty last month and was sentenced to life in prison.
