BRISTOL, Conn. (AP) — Police in Bristol say a three-vehicle crash has left three city residents with serious injuries.

Police Lt. Edward Spyros says in a statement released Saturday that those injured include two 17-year-old passengers in a car that was hit by Joseph Pistilli's pickup truck.

Police say the 55-year-old Joseph Pistilli was driving north on Middle Street late Friday when his truck hit a sedan heading in the same direction. The second vehicle, driven by 17-year-old Brittany Marques of Bristol, was pushed forward into a third vehicle that was also driving north on Middle Street.

Marques, one of her passengers and the driver of the third vehicle, 39-year-old Xiaomei Jurkowski of Southington, reported no injuries. The driver of the first vehicle as well as Amelia Schuler and Brandon Baher are in stable condition with serious injuries.

Police are investigating.
