YARMOUTH, Mass. (AP) — A registered sex offender from Yarmouth is facing new charges for allegedly raping two children under the age of 16.

Daniel Parker Wilson pleaded not guilty at his arraignment Wednesday in Barnstable District to multiple counts of rape of a child with force, two counts of indecent assault and battery on a child under 14 and one count of violating state sex offender laws. He was ordered held on $25,000 bail.

Police say the 22-year-old suspect sexually assaulted the children over a period of time since June.

The alleged assaults were reported to Yarmouth police Sunday and Wilson was arrested Tuesday.

Parker is a registered Level 2 sex offender, considered a moderate risk of re-offending.
