HYANNISPORT, Mass. (WHDH) — Could singing sensation Taylor Swift be making a move to Cape Cod? Real estate chatter says she’s doing just that.
The 13-room home, which overlooks Nantucket Sound, has seven bedrooms and five bathrooms. It was on the market for $4.9 million. Swift allegedly purchased the home that is located in the historic Kennedy compound.
To many it is not a surprise that the music star would purchase a home in the area. Pictures surfaced weeks ago of Swift on a boat with the Kennedy family and her rumored beau Conor Kennedy. Gossip websites and news websites have been reporting for weeks that Swift and Conor Kennedy are an item.
One man who says he works with a company that is directly involved in the sale of the Hyannisport home says the chatter is true.
Word on the Cape of a new celebrity neighbor travels quickly.
“She was hanging with a Kennedy and across the other side of the street, but I like her. She’s got nice music,” said Chris Falvey, a Cape resident.
The Barnstable Country register of deeds has no record of the sale at this time. A local Realtor could not confirm the sale, but he said like many others he has heard that Swift bought the house.
