BOSTON (WHDH) — One stage, one cause. A special group of hometown stars came together for The One Fund to raise money for the Boston Marathon bombing victims.

More than 300 bombing victims and first responders sat in the first few rows as the entire TD Garden rocked out.

Despite some technical difficulties with the concert’s live stream, the performers who grew up here said this was very personal.

“I’m not going to talk too much cause it’s already emotional enough being up here in front of all of you, being up in front of some of the survivors of one of the most infamous days in this country’s history,” said Donnie Wahlberg, a Boston native and member of the 90s band, New Kids on the Block.

For Bostonians who went inside, it was so much more than just a concert.

“Just have a good time and just enjoy Boston and just be a good citizen and it’s America. I love my country, I love Boston, I love America,” said one woman supporter.

Tickets for the historic concert sold out in minutes. Every penny raised at this concert will go to The One Fund.
