ANDOVER, Mass. (WHDH) — Celeste Corcoran, a victim of the Boston Marathon bombings, was honored at the annual “Feaster Five” race in Andover.

She was asked by race organizers to blow the horn at the starting line.

Corcoran lost both of her legs in the bombings, but now she is thankful she gets to be with her family for the holidays.

"There's other families, my new family, that I’ve met through the tragedy that we went through, the new friends I've made, they lost loved ones. It just should never have happened. I'm just thankful that my family is intact and that we can sit around the table and toast to this fact and toast to that fact,” Corcoran said.

Celeste said she hopes to be fitted with prosthetic legs for running so she can compete in future races.
