No rain on this Monday (poor fella has such a bad rap) instead it’s a Mild Monday with afternoon temps reaching 50. The only knock on the day is a fiesty breeze which,  at times, will puff between 10-20 mph. This time of year that breeze can mask the mild air. However, sunshine is with you for much of the day salvaging the final score.

Tuesday is also mild but no sunshine. Our next storm arrives with a big bag of clouds & rain. It won’t be a driving rain with thunderstorms (ala this past Saturday) but you will need rain gear. Despite the bag-o-rain our temps reach 50 degrees yet again. This storm will be the first of 3 little storms that with time will knock our January Thaw into hibernation.

The next storm arrives Wednesday afternoon-Thursday morning. The air is still mild enough to produce raindrops by Wednesday evening but as the storm departs early Thursday there may be a few snow showers. Temps continue their slide midweek (40s on Wednesday into the 30s by Thursday). The last of the 3 little storms is set to show up Friday night & into Saturday morning. That storm is weak but cold enough to produce only snow showers. Perhaps a coating to 2″ by early Saturday morning.

Cooling down by late week/upcoming weekend on the east coast means temps will climb in Denver by Sunday. It looks like the Patriots will have temps in the 50s in Denver this coming Sunday.
