UNDATED (WHDH) -- A new study found that girls experience stress at a very young age.
University of Wisconsin-Madison researchers found young girls who lived in homes with stressed mothers tended to have high levels of a stress hormone as early as pre-school years.
They are also more likely to have higher levels of anxiety at age 18.
The effect was not found in boys.
