UNDATED (WHDH) — Stress levels tend to boil over during the teenage years. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention offered tips to help.

They suggest parents:

— pay attention to your child's behavior

— show an interest in their school and extracurricular activities

— compliment them

— remind him or her that you are proud of them

These tips can help keep the teenage years less stressful.
