Here's your headline: Romney sweeps, but Santorum stays alive…and that means the stage is now set for Super showdown, a week from tonight.

Romney appears headed to a narrow victory in Michigan, but not a big enough win to stop all the speculation about how weak he was in his home state. Arizona doesn't change that.

And Rick Santorum can still claim a moralvictory by finishing a close second in Michigan….because, just two weeks ago, he was trailing Romney there by 19 points in polls.

Here’s what we know now that we didn't this morning: Mitt Romney has gained some momentum, but not as much as he wanted.

So the Republican race won't end quickly, because Romney isn't popular enough to put Rick Santorum away.

And Santorum isn't going away.
