NATICK, Mass. (WHDH) — A pool store in Framingham was a busy place Monday as temperatures rose.

The towns close to Interstate 495 felt the worst of the heat Monday.

“Way too hot,” said Karen Fennelly, who was buying pool supplies.

“They need us more because warm weather, warm water, algae, water clarity problems. Everyone wants a clear pool when it’s in the 90s,” said Mike Besso of Central Pools and Supply.

No pool? Others jumped in the lake.

One woman found a great way to stay cool — sitting in a chair in the lake.

“I’m sitting here watching the girls play and I’m enjoying the water,” said Jen Carbone.

Hydration is also a must during the hot days — whether it’s drinking water or playing in it.

Temperatures could be in the 90s all week.
