BOSTON (AP) — Two New England Revolution players will be scooping ice cream in a charity event to benefit One Fund Boston.

Soccer pros Saer Sene and Jerry Bengston will be behind the counter on Aug. 15 at the Ben & Jerry's at 174 Newbury St. in Boston.

The charity is the main relief fund for Boston Marathon bombing victims that Mayor Thomas Menino and Gov. Deval Patrick set up.

Revolution officials say all the players' tips and 50% of their sales will go toward helping bombing victims.

Revolution goalkeeper Matt Reis' father-in-law, John Odom, was among those critically wounded and had multiple surgeries in the aftermath of the bombings.
